Hi, I’m Krystal, a mother, soldier, entrepreneur, and the woman behind Rooted Radiance Beauty.
My story starts where most beauty journeys don’t: basic regulation. When I transitioned from Army Reserve to Active Duty in Pennsylvania in 2024, I had to leave behind something I’d worn since 2019, my beloved mink lash extensions. In uniform, they’re against regulation. So for the first time in years, I had to face my real lashes. And my lash line was completely bald. Instead of giving up, I got to work. I incorporated lash serum into my nightly routine and committed to growing my natural lashes back from scratch. But being new to Pennsylvania, far from my usual lash specialist, I wasn’t comfortable letting strangers near my eyes with them closed. So I found another way. That’s when I discovered DIY lash clusters and everything changed. I could achieve the same full, glamorous look as my mink extensions, completely on my own schedule, with no salon required. Easy to apply. Easy to remove. Total control. That journey from a bald lash line back to full, healthy lashes, combined with the freedom to glam up whenever I wanted became the foundation of Rooted Radiance Beauty. I created this brand because I never want another woman to feel limited.
